• Providing technical oversight and coordination of project Multidisciplinary (Structure, Piping, E&I, HVAC, Insulation) engineering work; through project coordination meetings and other means, monitoring progress against project schedules and budgets; recommending allocation of resources as required to accomplish goals. • Liaise with Project manager relating to respective project engineering issues and objectives. • Highlight immediately to the Project manager any item, which may delay the development and progress of the project. • Ensuring authorized activities are performed to procedure and meet project Scope of work, CTR’s and schedules • Ensuring all aspects of the projects design comply with legal acts, safety, client and regional requirements and specifications as related directly or indirectly to the discipline • Ensure all aspects of the design are 100% checked in accordance to QA policies & ISO 9000 requirements. • Raise and monitor reply to technical/site query sheets as required. • Ensure all documentation and communication is logged with DCC • Maintaining project folders: - Documents Projects folder - Drawing Projects folder • Weekly Highlight reports for all active project to Project manager: - Completed activity highlights - Planned activity highlights - Areas of concern - Outstanding information lists - Technical clarifications • Interviewing a new technical staff; • Working with vendor data-sheets and liaising with external suppliers • Drawing up of explanatory notes, instructions, procedures
