Responsible for the coordination of all business activities in the Atyrau Information Center, Central File Room, and Archives. Supervises Information Center staff. Responsible for establishing a full service records management system. Applies corporate-wide guidelines for retention, retrieval, and destruction of technical documents and coordinates application across all departments. Maintains TCO Records Retention Schedule. Advises department record owners when to evaluate files for destruction. Regularly communicates with the Tengiz Information Center and Plant Technical Archives Groups. Maintains vault and title copy of contracts. Reviews contracts for signature and duplication; indexes copies and prepares for filing; matches information with appropriate contract; rearranges current information within file to accommodate incoming information; works closely with departments in Atyrau and overseas locations to resolve issues. Reviews monthly contact report for inaccuracies and duplication. Researches complex client requests for contracts, correspondence, legislation, government regulations, litigation, and tax records. Delivers requests to clients in a timely manner. May perform research for special projects (biographies, briefing books and reports). Maintains a monthly log of requests for quarterly report statistics. Creates new correspondence file folders on an as needed basis; files correspondence, drop files, published data, and contracts; watches for duplicates and handles appropriately; responsible for returning correspondence and contract folders and for packing of documents for archive storage.
