Verify compliance to Project Quality Plan, specifications and standards. Monitor and verify WPS, PQR and welder qualification tests for structural and piping works. Monitor progress of all quality, inspection and testing activities against contractor and sub-contractor ITP’s. Monitor process controls for welding and NDE of all steel fabrication. Ensure all QC procedures and process controls are being implemented within all areas of the site and project

Review ITP and collect all barcode QVD (If required) as per ITPs before inspection from Turnover team. Raise NFIs as per ITP for client witness and hold points. Inspection of electrodes, material and equipment before start work. Check electrode distribution logs on regular basis. Electrode storage inspection on interval basis and check log/thermometer/Hygrometer Measuring instrument related to welding activity need to be verified with calibration certificate and intimation provide for recalibration. Inspection of WQT activities and prepare QVDs for client approval on time manner. NDT request need to prepare and submit to NDT lab for perform. Indicates of joints or show all joints to laboratory representative as per request. NDT test (PT/MT & UT) witness with client. RT Interpretation shall be done and take further action accordingly. Heat Numbers verify with certificates and make sure that before cutting joints, heat number shall be transfer to all pieces. Prepare Fitup reports / Visual inspection report /NDT offers/NDT report on regular basis and take approval from client on time manner. All reports ( Visual /NDT) shall be submit to lead Engineer (Welding & NDT) or Turnover Coordinator for uplading and registering in database. Welder repair percentage shall be monitor on regular basis.If repair percentage of welder over 2% , Welder shall be sent for addition training and requalification Quality certificate for pipes/fittings shall be collect from incoming inspection inspector. Monitor and make sure with log specialist that welding log shall be fill up correctly. Hydrotest witness and approval of QVDs from client after inspection complete. Inspection of flanges as per flangemangement procedure. If find any non-conformance activity , immediately raise NCR /SR as per seriousness of activity.
