Assure an effective and efficient process of economic and financial planning and control relevant to the project requirements, consistent to the approved operative strategies; * Oversee the areas of Contract management, Planning, Cost Control & Risk Management in terms of resources development, tools and operative procedures; * Oversee process and resources of planning and timing control, economical result and financial trend of Oil & Gas projects, in terms of planning and costs control, gains and cash flow, on the basis of schedule and works progress; * Guarantee periodical analysis of financial and economic situation of all projects started, giving suitable information to Project Control HoD. and reports to Operation Management, highlighting any deviations and suggesting proper corrective and improvement actions and recovering plans; * Guarantee the issuing and the updating of the treasurer forecast of each project to Project Control HoD.; * Support Project Control HoD to the selection/assignment of resources to the projects roles as Project Control Manager, Project Planner, Project Progress Controller, Cost Controller, Contract Manager, Quantity Surveyor; * Supervise the preparation of project close-out report for the parts that pertain to him/her; * Guarantee the preparation and the issuing of reports relevant to costs, activities and resources planning for all projects, in the interest of operative functions and project team; * Guarantee the correct method of contract administration, reducing risks and maximizing the projects opportunities in collaboration with the Function or the Project Contract Manager, if appointed; * Ensure a prompt evaluation of the human resources and means needs for contract demanding and communicate the relevant requests to the proper offices, if necessary; * Assure the development and a suitable supervision of skilled personnel in cost control, contract management and planning areas, in particular implementing proper training programs and professional experiences, both of tools and of methods and reporting, guaranteeing the continuous improvement; * Define the cost control method of the project with the Project Control Manager and supervise the definition of the Project Work Breakdown Structure; * Support critical processes of variations negotiation and project risks analysis; * Cooperate with Project Control HoD in order to establish methods for reducing projects risk linked to financial and economic planning activities, promoting the achievement of the defined objectives.

Progress monitoring on a regular basis and resolve any problems, bottlenecks/scheduling conflicts; * Co-ordinate internal project team reviews followed by an approval and review by the client of the work schedule, progress measurement and reporting systems; * Review the status continuously and keep the Project director/ Manager apprised of the progress and the areas needing attention for schedule adherence; * Ensure that field project controls documents such as construction schedules, resources histogram, reporting systems, commodity database, material controls systems, etc., are fully developed and implemented by the designated personnel, and reviewed by Construction Management and that engineering & procurement activities are properly interfaced; * Carry out diagnostic studies on ongoing project/ construction, to measure what is achieved vis-à-vis the plan by the project control team based on progress reports and feedback to ensure timely completion and formulate an action plan for schedule adherence; * Carry out schedule risk analysis as and when required and advise action plan to mitigate the delays, if any; * Participate in department development activities for continual improvement in the project control system & services;
