 Preparation and administration of the project’s budget and business plans,  Project accounting including month-end close transactions, intercompany, forecasts, financial packages, project slide reviews and other management reporting  Analysis of costs, percentage of completion, variances between actual, budget and forecast  Tax accounting including calculation, monitoring and reporting to the tax authorities; preparation of annual tax return; monthly foreign income tax reporting for US Corporate office; reconciliation of statutory, tax and GAAP books;  Review of reporting to the local statistical authorities and National Bank;  Accounting and control of fixed assets, bank operations, accounts payable, general accounting and accounts reconciliation;  Local payroll, taxation of income of local and expat personnel;  Client invoicing and aged AR, including regular communication with Client re timely remit of due funds, dealing with its queries, reviewing monthly processing files and true-ups, managing interface between cost control dept and billings;  Supervision of Kazakhstan Accounting department and liaison with UK office including supervision of UK group of the project and assistance to Corporate group.
