Responsibilities: 1. Establishing and handling trade relations with local suppliers. 2. Making necessary follow up for import freight and customs work of medical products purchased from abroad. 3. Making the basic book keeping of vendor accounts and payments. Achievement: 1. Key person to successfully gather the necessary quality certificates of the imported products and to submit application files for registry to Turkish Ministry of Health in desired format. 2. Key person to attend local and foreign conventions to gather update information about new product developments. 3. Key person to make continuous internet search to screen out new product developments around the globe and potential new suppliers to offer competitive products

1. Requesting quotations, evaluating offers and placing purchase orders to suppliers abroad in compliance with the needs of planning and manufacturing departments. Mainly responsible for consumable procurement and supporting the R&D team. 2. Making necessary dispatch follow ups according to the pre-set schedules and tracking the freight consolidated abroad. 3. Supporting customs brokers with necessary information and documents. Achievement: 1. Key contact and executing person in main TEI office for follow up and completion of all material and service procurement requirements of the TEI’s R&D team located in ITP premises in Spain. Responsible for the procurement and transfer of various items procured from various countries to TEI’s base in ITP, Spain. 2. Transferred some parts from overseas vendors to local manufacturers that would offer better cost and delivery. Made necessary follow up for vendor approvals. 3. Gathered samples for some consumable vendors and organizing trials with tool crib for new alternative product introduction to shop floor.

: 1. Responding to quotation requests of potential foreign clients for research projects. Working with field work department in order to determine the cost and projected timing. 2. Questionnaire design and execution of pilot interviews. Giving necessary instructions to fieldwork staff for successful execution of the surveys. 3. Interpreting the findings and reporting to the clients. Achievement: Implementation of new analysis and statistical demonstration of survey data in new projects upon reviewing gathered project reports earlier conducted abroad.
