Provide guest recognition at all times by addressing the guests by name and interacting with them on a personal level throughout their stay.
Always be visible to guests and to be constant contact with them by addressing them in any public area.
Be fully conversant with Angsana Velavaru facilities and daily functions, and with the services and facilities of other Angsana Resorts in order to be able to do recommendations and to be able to up sell all Angsana/Banyantree facilities and services.
Accept responsibilities for, and to show initiative in decision making when handling minor guest complains, in order to achieve instant guest satisfaction.
Refer major guest complains to the Front Office Manager, or the manager on duty in his absence, in order to prevent further dissatisfaction on behalf of the guest.
Ensure daily arrival departure program is organised, required paper work is done (including VIP/HMN amenities order) and distributed in accordance with departmental standards.
Escort the guest to their villa, register them in accordance with the local law and departmental standards and to explain all villa amenities and facilities.
Escort guests on excursions and special trips.
Ensure that all flight reconfirmation and details are correct with local travel or handling agents.
Ensure boat transfers and luggage collection is arranged in accordance with the departmental procedures.
Handle cashiering, do check outs and accept payments, take city ledgers and during check out ask the guests about their stay, handle any difficulties that may arise and to up sell another visit to Angsana / Banyantree.
