Duties and responsibilities include: • Handle full spectrum of financial and cost accounting role eg. AR, AP, GL, forecasting, budgeting etc.; • Responsible for day to day finance and accounts operations • Control over the posting entries in the accounting system with regard to taxability, correctness of general ledger and ensure timely closing of accounts; • Perform project cost forecasts/budgets, cost tracking, monitoring and controls; • Responsible for timely monthly and year financial statements (Trial Balanse, P&L, Balance Sheet) payments, cash-flow management reporting for submission to Head Office; • Review & approve payment vouchers & journal entries; • Perform cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analysing margins, variances and cost analysis; • Issue project cost reports for review and approval; • Prepare and submit Tax Returns: VAT, Income and Social Tax, Withholding Tax, Transport and Property tax, Corporate Income Tax etc, dealing with Tax Department; • Statistical and National Bank reporting, monitoring of other statistical reports prepared by Accounting staff; • Client invoicing, project invoicing (Accounts Receivable): dealing with true-up invoice provided to the Client with back ups collection. Preparation of weekly invoice status report. Interaction with Finance and Contract Department of the Client to get approval and payment of invoices • Process payroll; • Dealing with intercompany invoices to and from project • Support General Manager in ensuring that intercompany cost allocations are in line with management agreements and transfer pricing policy • Establish and maintain systems for cost-sensitivity analysis and early-warning of cost-overruns • Work consultatively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives; • Support in the preparation of a tender and other duties as directed by Country Manager and Head Office
